Def: e-phem-er-a noun (plural e-phem-er-ae or e-phem-er-as)
1. something short-lived: something that is transitory and without lasting significance. Can be used to describe paper, letters, maps, photos, old advertisements, etc
BTW if anyone could tell me what these guys are doing, I'd rest easier tonight.

It's nice to see someone else who enjoys ephemera. Great post. I'm not certain, but I believe the postcard photograph shows a group of men picking some type of crop--possibly cotton.
